Last Race Recap: Cole raced the entire World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing in the No. 97 Timberwolf Plastics ride for Phase One Motorsports. Cole brought home two top ten finishes and a pole position before the week’s worth of racing was completed.
Most Recent Winner: The most recent Southern Super Series race at South Alabama Speedway was a pleasant experience for Cole Anderson. Leading 19 of the 125 laps, he captured his second consecutive victory of the 2016 SSS campaign.
More Winning: While Bond Suss Racing is a relatively new team in super late model racing, its namesake has been around for decades and brings years of experience. In 2015, Bond led Christopher Bell to victory at the Rattler 250 with Kyle Busch Motorsports, meaning all parties involved this weekend with Cole’s effort have visited victory lane at South Alabama.
Cole’s Thoughts: “I think we all have pretty high expectations since we’ve both had success at South Alabama Speedway, so hopefully we can put our heads together and get a good finish. A good weekend for us would be a top five finish. Coming into a big race like the Rattler with no experience working with each other is something many could consider a disadvantage, but I’m confident in the BSR guys. I’m really excited to work with a new team and see what we can do together for these upcoming races.”
