June 28, 2016 (Douglasville, Georgia) – Will Martin is set for his return to Super Late Model racing competition this weekend in the prestigious Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway. The race will be the Georgia natives second with Jamie Yelton’s Fat Head Racing (FHR) Driver Development Program, coming just two weeks after Martin earned a 10th place finish with the team at Hickory Motor Speedway.

“I am very excited to get back in the driver’s seat for Jamie Yelton/FHR,” Will stated. “The new Smyrna track has more banking then any other track I’ve raced at so far, either in the pro late model or super late model, but I’m confident I’ll be able to get up to speed quickly with the team’s help. I want to wish all the fans, as well as my sponsor Precision Blasting and my team a happy and safe 4th of July!”

A winning US Legends Racing competitor, Will is taking a week off from his pursuit of the Legends Pro Division championship in theThursday Thunder Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway in order to compete in the Clyde Hart Memorial. New Smyrna is part of a select schedule of Super and Pro Late Model races he will compete in this year.

To prepare for the race, Will and the team will participate in the open test session at the track on Wednesday before returning for practice, qualifying and the race on Thursday. Racing is scheduled to get underway at 7:30pm Thursday evening.
