The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Boston Red Sox Minor League outfielder Chad Hardy has received a 60-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Tamoxifen, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Program. The suspension of Hardy, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Red Sox, is effective immediately.

Free agent Minor League right-handed pitcher Julio Lugo has received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Program. The suspension of Lugo will be effective immediately upon his signing with another Major League organization.

Free agent Minor League right-handed pitcher Adolfi Telleria has received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Program. The suspension of Telleria will be effective immediately upon his signing with another Major League organization.
