On Tuesday, Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose suffered a left orbital fracture during practice. Rose was taken by the Bulls medical staff to Rush University Medical Center for testing and evaluation. After consultation with several specialists, it has been determined that Rose will require a surgical procedure on Wednesday.
With no timetable for his return after the surgery, the Bulls once again will have to play without one of the leagues’ most injured plagued players.
The injury happened when Rose took an elbow to the face during practice Tuesday.
It was described as “a good, hard elbow,” by Coach Fred Hoiberg.
With no timetable and a once again broken Derrick Rose, is it time for the Bulls to move on or do they once again hold on to what might never be?
